| Assessment: | The assessment is composed of work-based assignments and satisfactorily fulfilling the requirements of each competency. |
| Employability Skills: | Employability Skills for each qualification have been determined by the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR). These skills are required to gain employment or establish an enterprise, to progress within an organisation, to expand employment capability, with the aim of achieving individual potential and contributing successfully to organisational strategic outcomes.
These include: communication, team work, problem solving, planning and organising, self-management, learning and technology. |

SKILLS OUTCOME
At the successful completion of this course students will be able to :
- Understand the values, principles, processes and legislation requirements within the public sector.
- Apply high level communication skills including an appreciation of diversity in the workplace.
- Research, evaluate and analyse data collected from various information systems.
RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING (RPL)
Given that some participants may already be able to demonstrate their competence in some units, a recognition of prior learning assessment process is available to acknowledge skills and knowledge that may have been gained through formal and informal training and/or learning, work experience and life experience.
