Certificate IV in Government (Investigation)
SUITABLE FOR:
Those responsible for statutory investigation under a range of legislation, regulations, mandated government and organisational policy and instruction. The course aims to equip participants with an understanding of government structures and processes, the environment in which they work, and the organisational responsibilities of the public sector.

| Entry Requirements: | Students need to be currently working in a public sector organisation in order to complete the required assessment tasks. No prior qualifications are necessary, although numeracy and literacy at a minimum Year 10 standard are required to demonstrate competencies. |

At the successful completion of this course students will be able to :
- Understand the values, principles, processes and legislation requirements for those working within the public sector.
- Implement effective workplace operational plans.
- Initiate, implement and report on investigations through interviews and evidence gathering.

Given some participants may already be able to demonstrate their competence in some units, RPL is available which acknowledges skills and knowledge that may have been gained through formal and informal training and/or learning, work experience and life experience.
